Stains's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Charbonnier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Regis Testu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavien Goetz having to make a save. 16 minutes into the game, Stains's Joseph Charbonnier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavien Goetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mimet's Flavien Goetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Regis Testu in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Gilles Cade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mimet and the Stains players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Mimet got a freekick which was hit by Gilles Cade. Stains's Joseph Charbonnier managed to work through Mimet's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Joseph Charbonnier dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Pacome Kiefer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Houdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Joseph Charbonnier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavien Goetz having to make a save. If Regis Testu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joseph Charbonnier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Regis Testu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Regis Testu made a kick off. Joseph Charbonnier struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Flavien Goetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stains. If Regis Testu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joseph Charbonnier came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Stains fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Charbonnier couldn't finish the play. Joseph Charbonnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavien Goetz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Donovan Houdin sped through Stains's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pacome Kiefer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Testu in the 78th minute of play forced Mimet's goalkeeper Flavien Goetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Mimet got a freekick which was hit by Luis Arnould. In the 81st match minute, Mimet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Avril to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Mathias Bourgois sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavien Goetz skillfully saved the ball. Flavien Goetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Regis Testu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Donovan Houdin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pacome Kiefer was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 89 minutes, Joffrey Delhommeau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stains and the Mimet players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Olivier Guèdes in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pacome Kiefer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stains were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
