Léo Chappe's late challenge caught a Porto Vecchio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Chappe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Massane's Léo Chappe got a free kick in the 29th minute. Nathanaël Guiraud, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Walter Coupin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mohamed-Ali Claudel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germain Jean-Louis in the 35th minute of play forced Massane's goalkeeper Geoffrey Arnold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Edmond Delhomme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohamed-Ali Claudel, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Kévin Olivieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geoffrey Arnold was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Edmond Delhomme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmond Delhomme to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Philippe Landry shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed-Ali Claudel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Walter Coupin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Massane's Léo Chappe got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Léo Chappe off the ground. Geoffrey Arnold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kévin Olivieri in the 68th minute of the match. Germain Jean-Louis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Geoffrey Arnold skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geoffrey Arnold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kévin Olivieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Mohamed-Ali Claudel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Coupin in the 82nd minute of play. Kévin Olivieri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geoffrey Arnold came out and tried to block the shot, but Kévin Olivieri slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Philippe Dubray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Massane's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Germain Jean-Louis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
