Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevan Drancourt started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Olympique Marseille booed when Wattignies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Le Parc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Baronnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Cariou in the 6th minute of play. Tom Ridard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fred Joulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Richier kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Terry Cariou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marius Moussu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Olympique Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corentin Moussu to maneuver through the defense. Fred Joulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Ridard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Tom Ridard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wattignies's Fred Joulin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wattignies's Terry Cariou got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Terry Cariou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wattignies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Marseille the free kick. After 36 played minutes Wattignies got a freekick which was hit by Terry Cariou. Fred Joulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Ridard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wattignies's Fred Joulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevan Drancourt in the 42nd minute of play. Fred Joulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Ridard, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Franklin Baronnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Moussu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarod Ménez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Marius Moussu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Baronnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Baronnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Cariou in the 61st minute of play. Marius Moussu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Wattignies's Marius Moussu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Baronnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Kevan Drancourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Marseille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wattignies the free kick. In the 69th minute, Kevan Drancourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terry Cariou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Baronnet having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Marseille's goalkeeper Franklin Baronnet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olympique Marseille's Franklin Baronnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Cariou in the 84th minute of play. Terry Cariou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Baronnet having to interfere. Tom Ridard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fred Joulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Tom Ridard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olympique Marseille players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wattignies.
