After a rather tough play, Louveciennes's Davy Amirault got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Louveciennes's zone, Gustave Esquerre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaud Coquillat came out of the goal and Gustave Esquerre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaud Coquillat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustave Esquerre went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Houppeville's goalkeeper Noël Jouanny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Bouzid. After having played for 28 minutes, Kilian Da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Louveciennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kilian Da Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noël Jouanny came out and tried to block the shot, but Kilian Da Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes in the game, Johnny Bouzid fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noël Jouanny having to interfere. Gustave Esquerre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaud Coquillat having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Bachellerie to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Houppeville's zone, Kilian Da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noël Jouanny came out of the goal and Kilian Da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Bouzid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Johnny Bouzid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Noël Jouanny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnaud Coquillat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Bachellerie in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Houppeville's zone, Johnny Bouzid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noël Jouanny came out of the goal and Johnny Bouzid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustave Esquerre might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaud Coquillat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustave Esquerre ran back to his position shaking his head. Tom Mével lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 82 minutes into the match, Louveciennes's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bachellerie came free, but Arnaud Coquillat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jacques Charbonnier fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Louveciennes's protests and gave Jacques Charbonnier a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Louveciennes got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Charbonnier. Gustave Esquerre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Bachellerie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaud Coquillat having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Louveciennes's goalkeeper Arnaud Coquillat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustave Esquerre. Johnny Bouzid struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Noël Jouanny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louveciennes. Victor Bachellerie struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Arnaud Coquillat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Houppeville. For all the effort they put into the match, the Houppeville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Louveciennes.
