Cyprien Faury showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Sévestre in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ⭐⭐RENNES⭐⭐'s zone, Dylan Pieters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Carel came out of the goal and Dylan Pieters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rodrigue Bonnot's late challenge caught a Valenton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigue Bonnot helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigue Bonnot hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes ⭐⭐RENNES⭐⭐'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toufik Batlle who took care of the corner kick.
