Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fond's Noé Debuire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tony Fouilleul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noé Debuire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Fond's Tony Fouilleul threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albert Bizeul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tony Fouilleul was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Noé Debuire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noé Debuire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Bizeul came free, but Tony Fouilleul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Villedieu struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tony Fouilleul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fond. In the 20th minute, Fond's Noé Debuire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Fond's Paul Rival ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Fouilleul. Tony Fouilleul yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a little luck, lyon's Tony Fouilleul got control of the ball when Mustapha Hacquard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adil Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Foster, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Noé Debuire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Fouilleul. lyon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noé Debuire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mike Foster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mike Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Fond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Villedieu to maneuver through the defense. When lyon's Mike Foster in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fond's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Rival in the 44th minute of play forced lyon's goalkeeper Tony Fouilleul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Tony Fouilleul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyril Delecluse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. lyon's Tony Fouilleul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Bizeul in the 56th minute of play. Tony Fouilleul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Rival in the 57th minute of play. Ronald Battut kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Mustapha Hacquard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fond's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustapha Hacquard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Paul Rival ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Fouilleul was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Noé Debuire took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Fouilleul. Tony Fouilleul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 80th minute Paul Rival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Fouilleul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Battut during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to lyon getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ronald Battut hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Noé Debuire notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of lyon's Tony Fouilleul. Tony Fouilleul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Noé Debuire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Fouilleul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Bizeul came free, but Tony Fouilleul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. lyon's Tony Fouilleul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Rival in the 91st minute of play. Tony Fouilleul came out of the goal and Luis Villedieu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fond walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
