After a rather tough play, Girondins de Bordeaux's Modeste Delfour got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Hector Conchon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Girondins de Bordeaux got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Deveaux. 17 minutes into the game, Hector Conchon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nelson Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Girondins de Bordeaux:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ASDjerba:s goal. The referee gave ASDjerba a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nolan Lafleur, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Girondins de Bordeaux's Nelson Barbosa. 0-2. The supporters of Girondins de Bordeaux booed when ASDjerba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Beaujard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Gameiro Tournaire made the kick off in the second half. Yves Lamoureux helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ASDjerba booed when Girondins de Bordeaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Lamoureux didn't get a good kick on the ball. ASDjerba's Terry Renault managed to work through Girondins de Bordeaux's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Terry Renault dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in ASDjerba's zone, Gameiro Tournaire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Lemarchand came out of the goal and Gameiro Tournaire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hugo Greiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, Girondins de Bordeaux's Hugo Greiner made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Lemarchand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hubert Degand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Axel Lemarchand. ASDjerba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gameiro Tournaire in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Lemarchand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Conchon might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Conchon ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ASDjerba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
