Joris Dubroca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émile Moro having to interfere. Couëron's Eymeric Bernhard got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geoffrey Bourdon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Sirot having to interfere. Émile Moro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Dubroca in the 15th minute of play. Auguste Serrurier's late challenge caught a Couëron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Auguste Serrurier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Couëron booed when Miribel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Auguste Serrurier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Eymeric Bernhard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Couëron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eymeric Bernhard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Joris Dubroca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alain Cantrel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Émile Moro having to make a save. Geoffrey Bourdon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Sirot having to interfere. Émile Moro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Dubroca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Émile Moro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Miribel's Alain Cantrel. But to his dismay, Alain Cantrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joris Dubroca was the one to do the kick off. Alain Cantrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Émile Moro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute Alain Cantrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émile Moro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Joris Dubroca notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Couëron's Émile Moro. Émile Moro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eymeric Bernhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Sirot having to interfere. Émile Moro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Cantrel in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geoffrey Bourdon during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Couëron getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Geoffrey Bourdon hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joris Dubroca in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Émile Moro saved Couëron from getting behind. Louis Maugard charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis Maugard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Louis Maugard kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Couëron's goalkeeper Émile Moro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Couëron's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Dubroca came free, but Émile Moro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Couëron got a freekick which was hit by Louis Maugard. Émile Moro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Dubroca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Émile Moro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Dubroca in the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Couëron players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miribel.
