Thanks to some nice moves Antony Pierrot could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Maxime Rivoire however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the RC Plouvain defense, Jean-François Savary kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Delsart. The RC Plouvain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Delsart should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitri Laurence was the one to do the kick off. Maxime Rivoire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Pierrot in the 51st minute of play.
