Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hakim Chrétien got the match started through his kick off. When Charles-Emmanuel Gourgues fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rouvignies's protests and gave Charles-Emmanuel Gourgues a yellow card for diving instead. Montmain's Hakim Chrétien got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Rouvignies got a freekick which was hit by Hubert De Meyer. Hakim Chrétien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modeste Baillard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Chrétien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Montmain defense, Roger Sergeant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romain Grassi. The Montmain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romain Grassi should have stopped the shot. Modeste Baillard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakim Chrétien in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Montmain booed when Rouvignies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Émeric Faux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordy Joachim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léon Picavet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Modeste Baillard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Sergeant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Romain Grassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Rouvignies got a freekick which was hit by Roger Sergeant. After a rather tough play, Rouvignies's Hubert De Meyer got a free kick in the 31st minute. Léon Picavet struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Modeste Baillard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montmain. Gilles Dany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Rouvignies were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gilles Dany made the kick off in the second half. Rouvignies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Émeric Faux in the 58th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montmain's goalie and right to Anthony Ravat. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montmain's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hakim Chrétien scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modeste Baillard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hubert De Meyer hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Modeste Baillard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakim Chrétien in the 70th minute of play. Léon Picavet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modeste Baillard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Hakim Chrétien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Modeste Baillard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rouvignies's Anthony Ravat got a free kick in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
