Zimmerbach's Vivien Brayer got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Vandenabeele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Lhuissier having to interfere. Oscar Vandenabeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vivien Brayer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Zimmerbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivien Brayer couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Jean-Charles Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes of play, Phocea13's Alain Bouix made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Anton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Régis Lhuissier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute, Zimmerbach's Vivien Brayer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Vivien Brayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Vandenabeele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Régis Lhuissier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Phocea13's Régis Lhuissier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivien Brayer in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Régis Lhuissier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Brayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis Lhuissier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivien Brayer's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Fernand Santucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Zimmerbach got a freekick which was hit by Yvan Duclos. Vivien Brayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Lhuissier having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Vivien Brayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zimmerbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivien Brayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Loïc Huin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phocea13's supporters rose to their feet, but Loïc Huin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Anton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Zimmerbach's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Santucci came free, but Carlos Anton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Fernand Santucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Anton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivien Brayer in the 78th minute of play forced Phocea13's goalkeeper Régis Lhuissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernand Santucci in the 83rd minute of play forced Zimmerbach's goalkeeper Carlos Anton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zimmerbach's Vivien Brayer got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Serge Margueritte from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Carlos Anton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Phocea13 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zimmerbach.
