Philibert Rodier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Justin Régis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daix's Bertrand Hanquez got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Daix a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honoré Bazin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MIAMI's Patrice Bertin. 0-4. Philibert Rodier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertrand Hanquez in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrice Bertin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertrand Hanquez was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 65 minutes, Bertrand Hanquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertrand Hanquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benjamin Berthet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Bertrand Hanquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Daix booed when MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed-Ali Lesourd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Berthet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger De Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Bertrand Hanquez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Patrice Bertin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daix. When MIAMI's Philibert Rodier in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Daix's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Daix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MIAMI.
