If Norbert Flahaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Norbert Flahaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesclans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Flahaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Flahaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Patrice Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger De Castro in the 21st minute of play forced Mesclans's goalkeeper Djibril Cherel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrice Bertin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliott Carrette in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Marc-Antoine Ménet. After a defensive mix-up in MIAMI's zone, Eliott Carrette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrice Bertin came out of the goal and Eliott Carrette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Flahaut in the 37th minute of play forced MIAMI's goalkeeper Patrice Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aymerick Devos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes in the game, Norbert Flahaut fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patrice Bertin having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Flahaut to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliott Carrette kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Aymerick Devos came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the MIAMI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aymerick Devos couldn't finish the play. Patrice Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Flahaut in the 64th minute of the match. Ibrahim Gentil's late challenge caught a Mesclans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibrahim Gentil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MIAMI getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ibrahim Gentil hit a great ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind MIAMI's goalkeeper Patrice Bertin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norbert Flahaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Patrice Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eliott Carrette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrice Bertin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Norbert Flahaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrice Bertin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Flahaut ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in MIAMI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! 87 minutes into the game, Eliott Carrette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesclans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIAMI the free kick. In the 88th minute, Eliott Carrette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliott Carrette struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Patrice Bertin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesclans. 99 minutes into the match, Norbert Flahaut notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MIAMI's Patrice Bertin. Patrice Bertin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mesclans's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
