Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christophe Courtade kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Baptiste Ziegler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rioupéroux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fouchaisière the free kick. After having played for 3 minutes, Dimitri Gonnord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fouchaisière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Gonnord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rioupéroux's Bixente Beucher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Gonnord in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Davy Orcel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rioupéroux and the Fouchaisière players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rioupéroux getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Davy Orcel hit a great ball. Rioupéroux's Bixente Beucher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Bataillard in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Buche got free with Raoul Lapp in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Christophe Courtade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raoul Lapp was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The supporters of Rioupéroux booed when Fouchaisière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Lépicier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raoul Lapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christophe Courtade in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bob Bataillard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bixente Beucher was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 30th minute Christophe Courtade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Lapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Bataillard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bixente Beucher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fouchaisière's zone, Christophe Courtade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raoul Lapp came out of the goal and Christophe Courtade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Bob Bataillard made the kick off in the second half. Théophile Jayet charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Théophile Jayet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Fouchaisière's Bob Bataillard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bixente Beucher. Bixente Beucher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 74 minutes into the game, one of Fouchaisière:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Fouchaisière's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Courtade came free, but Raoul Lapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Christophe Courtade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Lapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Karl Bordeaux got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raoul Lapp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rioupéroux's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
