Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robin Lallemant made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Rozet during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Marin got a freekick which was hit by Achille Rozet. Terry Goursaud, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Marin's Robin Lallemant got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute, Marin's Robin Lallemant fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. Anthony Civel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Igor Dantec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Jack Patouillard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jack Patouillard struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Igor Dantec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimeaux. Igor Dantec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Patouillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Marin's goalkeeper Igor Dantec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Civel. The supporters of Marin booed when Gimeaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Patouillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Gimeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Henri Hédouin came free, but Omer Le Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Forissier kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Robin Lallemant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robin Lallemant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Robin Lallemant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lallemant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Anthony Civel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Marin's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Patouillard came free, but Igor Dantec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robin Lallemant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Patouillard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Robin Lallemant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omer Le Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terry Goursaud, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Romeo Delattre fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marin's protests and gave Romeo Delattre a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Marin got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Delattre. Igor Dantec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Patouillard in the 59th minute of play. Omer Le Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Lallemant in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Lallemant in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omer Le Roy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anthony Civel struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Igor Dantec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimeaux. Pierre-Henri Hédouin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Omer Le Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pierre-Henri Hédouin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Lallemant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marin's goalkeeper Igor Dantec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robin Lallemant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Omer Le Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marin getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Djamel Imbert hit a great ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terry Goursaud was slow to take the kick. During this time Gimeaux's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Louison Créach at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Marin. 1-0. 96 minutes into the match, Gimeaux's goalkeeper Omer Le Roy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Henri Hédouin. Gimeaux's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
