Madjid Haddad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Vert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madjid Haddad was a little too slow when Timothé Marbœuf got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Mourad Cazorla in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's Brice Grenot. PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's Madjid Haddad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheikh Dehais in the 31st minute of play. PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's Madjid Haddad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothé Marbœuf in the 43rd minute of play forced PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's goalkeeper Madjid Haddad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timothé Marbœuf to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Vert came free, but Madjid Haddad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronan Bouquerel might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Charles Barberis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronan Bouquerel ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Jean-Charles Barberis managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when PARIS CENTRE FOOTBALL's Ronan Bouquerel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marc-Aurèle Rabeau hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Madjid Haddad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Delprat in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nîmes Olympiques FC had won after a very even match.
