After a rather tough play, Ecault's Mathys Siret got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Adrien Rougemont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Jousselin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Marouane Jullien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrien Rougemont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Yves Jousselin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Pau FC's Bruce Houles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vivien Moser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathys Siret hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecault's zone, Modeste Sanchis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivien Moser came out of the goal and Modeste Sanchis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Marouane Jullien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecault's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pau FC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Ecault was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marouane Jullien to maneuver through the defense. Pau FC's Bruce Houles got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruce Houles to strike the kick off in the second half. Modeste Delpeuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yves Jousselin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrien Rougemont in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Pau FC's goalkeeper Yves Jousselin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modeste Delpeuch. In the 66th minute, Modeste Sanchis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrien Rougemont's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yves Jousselin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Modeste Sanchis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivien Moser having to interfere. Bruce Houles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes, Modeste Sanchis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pau FC and the Ecault players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecault getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marouane Jullien hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Ecault's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Houles came free, but Vivien Moser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
