Clem Roulle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gwendal Barbieri went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Montrabé's Abdel Claveau got a free kick in the 8th minute. Axel Verger charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Verger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Verger kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Clem Roulle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyril Venier, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cyril Venier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montrabé's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyril Venier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clem Roulle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Eddy Hervé notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montrabé's Faudel Morlot. Faudel Morlot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyril Venier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Clem Roulle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Authie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Lachaume to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Montrabé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Authie:s goal. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Authie's Laurent Lachaume got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Faudel Morlot. Cyril Venier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clem Roulle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Hervé made a kick off. Eddy Hervé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Faudel Morlot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Karim Adnet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faudel Morlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Hervé in the 56th minute of the match. Clem Roulle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwendal Barbieri in the 58th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Cyril Venier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Authie's Clem Roulle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Éluard Lioret in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faudel Morlot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyril Venier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludovic De Backer's late challenge caught a Montrabé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludovic De Backer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Authie getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ludovic De Backer hit a great ball. Éluard Lioret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faudel Morlot having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Cyril Venier took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Clem Roulle to make any attempt to save it. If Cyril Venier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Authie booed when Montrabé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Adnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Cyril Venier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Montrabé defense, Eddy Hervé kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faudel Morlot. The Montrabé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faudel Morlot should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Authie's Clem Roulle got control of the ball when Gwendal Barbieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faudel Morlot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Hervé, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Authie fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montrabé had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
