Tony Gruet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Hervé in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Authie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Verriere to maneuver through the defense. Éluard Lioret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Gruet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Jonchet getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Johan Jallet hit a great ball. Eddy Hervé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute of the match Kader Wadoux sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Gruet skillfully saved the ball. If Rodrigue Morvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éluard Lioret in the 48th minute of play forced Jonchet's goalkeeper Tony Gruet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddy Hervé to strike the kick off in the second half. Clem Roulle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Saint-Léger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigue Morvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clem Roulle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jonchet reached it. Éluard Lioret struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tony Gruet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Authie. Eddy Hervé was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Éluard Lioret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tony Gruet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Gruet had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Eddy Hervé from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Eddy Hervé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sidney Verriere fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Authie's protests and gave Sidney Verriere a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jonchet booed when Authie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Verriere didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Tom Saint-Léger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Roulle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 89th minute of the match Sidney Verriere completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sidney Verriere a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Tom Saint-Léger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clem Roulle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Saint-Léger in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Thibault Lunel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clem Roulle skillfully saved the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
