Lionel Moutard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Glatigny in the 15th minute of the match. If Charles Glatigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mounir Nion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Moutard having to interfere. Charles Glatigny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Charles Glatigny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel Moutard was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After having played for 29 minutes, Charles Glatigny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germain Bachelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildas Fouilleul in the 31st minute of the match. If Omer Nicoleau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Omer Nicoleau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seynod and the Bourdinière players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lionel Moutard came out of the goal and Charles Glatigny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Bourdinière's zone, Gildas Fouilleul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germain Bachelier came out of the goal and Gildas Fouilleul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Richard Champenois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildas Fouilleul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Bachelier having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Bourdinière's goalkeeper Germain Bachelier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildas Fouilleul. Omer Nicoleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildas Fouilleul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Bachelier having to interfere. Germain Bachelier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omer Nicoleau, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Seynod's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Glatigny came free, but Lionel Moutard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germain Bachelier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Nicoleau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seynod's Lionel Moutard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Glatigny in the 87th minute of play. Germain Bachelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Nicoleau in the 88th minute of the match. If Gildas Fouilleul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Seynod had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
