An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Milcent in the 10th minute of play forced Molin FC's goalkeeper Harry Guinaudeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Grégoire Favier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Molin FC and the Napoule players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Molin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Guinaudeau should have stopped the shot. Arnaud Courrèges struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Harry Guinaudeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napoule. Maxime Lacassagne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. François-Xavier Ferrière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickaël Durrieu to strike the kick off in the second half. Molin FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Omar Arzur's late challenge caught a Molin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Arzur helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Napoule got a freekick which was hit by Omar Arzur. Maxime Lacassagne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, François-Xavier Ferrière skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Molin FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
