In the 4thth minute of the game Nelson Milcent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dionière's Madjid Guillier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madjid Guillier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Milcent's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Arnaud Courrèges struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Madjid Guillier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napoule. Nelson Milcent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Madjid Guillier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dionière's Germain Zitouni got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Dionière defense, Arnaud Courrèges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Madjid Guillier. The Dionière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Madjid Guillier should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Nelson Milcent notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dionière's Madjid Guillier. Madjid Guillier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Madjid Guillier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Courrèges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nelson Milcent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dionière's Madjid Guillier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Arnaud Courrèges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napoule's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaud Courrèges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Madjid Guillier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Milcent scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Madjid Guillier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Arnaud Courrèges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Napoule's Arnaud Courrèges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Madjid Guillier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Dionière players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Napoule were winning 1-4.

In the 58th play minute Jarod Le Goff came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Madjid Guillier. 1-5. Madjid Guillier made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Arnaud Courrèges sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Valentin Faurie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaud Courrèges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Madjid Guillier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Nelson Milcent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Guillier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaise Vray kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Napoule's corner Nelson Milcent fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Madjid Guillier quite easily take care of the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dionière's goalkeeper Madjid Guillier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Courrèges got free with Madjid Guillier in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Napoule's zone, Salim Mosser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François-Xavier Ferrière came out of the goal and Salim Mosser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Napoule's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
