Dominique Raffard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Delrue having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Hellemmes's Marc-Olivier Manon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Rudy Bressy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morsbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hellemmes the free kick. A collision led to Morsbach getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rudy Bressy hit a great ball. Léon Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Devanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Raffard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Delrue having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Bressy in the 35th minute of play forced Hellemmes's goalkeeper Christian Delrue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Léon Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léon Russo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léon Russo in the 52nd minute of play forced Morsbach's goalkeeper Franklin Hanquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominique Raffard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabien Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léon Russo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Franklin Hanquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hellemmes. In the 70th minute, Morsbach's Rudy Bressy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Delrue. Christian Delrue yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When Fabien Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hellemmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Esteves couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Léon Russo put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Franklin Hanquez. In the 80th minute, Léon Russo made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Hanquez. Morsbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Marc-Olivier Manon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Franklin Hanquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
