Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raymond Colombet took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shelby FC's zone, Édouard Massonnet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Loir came out of the goal and Édouard Massonnet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Paul Loir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Édouard Massonnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Philibert Becot in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jean-Paul Loir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shelby FC's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Loir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philibert Becots short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Jean-Paul Loir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Philibert Becot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Édouard Massonnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Loir having to interfere. If Édouard Massonnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cédric Castan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Édeline having to interfere. Philibert Becot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Édouard Massonnet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jean-Paul Loir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anthony Bardot. In the 42nd minute, Philibert Becot made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Paul Loir. Shelby FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Shelby FC's Jean-Paul Loir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Édouard Massonnet in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Édouard Massonnet was the one to do the kick off. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 54th minute, but Eugène Édeline got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Loëx hanging dry this time. Eugène Édeline took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Colombet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shelby FC's Denis Varnier suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 57 minutes, Billy Bélet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loëx and the Shelby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shelby FC booed when Loëx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Bélet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maxime Cruchet came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Shelby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxime Cruchet couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Loëx getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cédric Puget hit a great ball. Maxime Cruchet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Édeline having to interfere. In the 66th minute Philibert Becot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Loir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Colombet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Édeline having to interfere. If Philibert Becot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Paul Loir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philibert Becot in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Shelby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Philibert Becot came free, but Jean-Paul Loir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shelby FC's Cédric Castan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Cédric Puget got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Édouard Massonnet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Édouard Massonnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Loir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loëx were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Shelby FC for a fine match.
