But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Denizet couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Craponoz getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Matheo Reibel hit a great ball. Karl Magdeleine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Boin having to interfere. Bryan Blaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Bouille in the 18th minute of play forced Craponoz's goalkeeper Adrien Boin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Craponoz's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Magdeleine came free, but Adrien Boin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philibert Goudard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Charles Bonvalot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Craponoz getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Karl Magdeleine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrien Boin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrien Boin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederic Bouille in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederic Bouille was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute Philibert Goudard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Bonvalot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Karl Magdeleine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adrien Boin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Bouille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrien Boin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederic Bouille in the 72nd minute of the match. Craponoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philibert Goudard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bryan Blaize hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Karl Magdeleine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landouge played a much better game than Craponoz and deserved their victory. The Craponoz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
