Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Allan Gohin started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Arnold Videau made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Devecey's Hamza Lorieux tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Brice Isidore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Devecey's Constantin Senez in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geneuille's goalie prevented a goal. Hamza Lorieux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brice Isidore, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Arnold Videau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hamza Lorieux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hamza Lorieux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brice Isidore in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Videau got free with Hamza Lorieux in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Geneuille's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Senez came free, but Aime Lamirand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brice Isidore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Devecey's goalkeeper Hamza Lorieux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Videau. Igor Viallet's late challenge caught a Devecey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Viallet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Geneuille's Igor Viallet got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brice Isidore made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Guillou in the 56th minute of play forced Devecey's goalkeeper Hamza Lorieux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aime Lamirand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Gohin in the 62nd minute of the match. If Arnold Videau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantin Senez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aime Lamirand having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Devecey's Allan Gohin in the 69th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aime Lamirand was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Geneuille through an amazing save. In the 70th minute, Constantin Senez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djimmy Perron during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Geneuille fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Aime Lamirand went to the wrong direction when Brian Féret was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 75th match minute, Geneuille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Viallet to maneuver through the defense. Fabrice Sandrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aime Lamirand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Constantin Senez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnold Videau struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hamza Lorieux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geneuille. Hamza Lorieux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brice Isidore in the 86th minute of the match. When Abdel Hulin fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devecey's protests and gave Abdel Hulin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Devecey getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jimmy Larrue hit a great ball. Arnold Videau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devecey's Hamza Lorieux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brice Isidore in the 99th minute of play. Geneuille were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Devecey for a fine match.
