Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 14 minutes into the match, Enzo Monier notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barrade's Ferdinand Dasse. Ferdinand Dasse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Dasse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Depoorter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Echirolles's Édouard Karembeu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastien Château in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enzo Monier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Dasse was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Bastien Château fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Édouard Karembeu having to interfere. When Mathys Mayot fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrade's protests and gave Mathys Mayot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Echirolles booed when Barrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathys Mayot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Depoorter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ferdinand Dasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 39 in the game by Joseph Lernould from a close distance when the talented Édouard Karembeu managed to make a qualified save. Echirolles's players were relieved. Joseph Lernould sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bastien Château was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Joseph Lernould had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Édouard Karembeu. Echirolles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Lernould was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfried Chouteau during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Barrade getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wilfried Chouteau hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Lernould in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Édouard Karembeu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Joseph Lernould cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Édouard Karembeu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Monier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ferdinand Dasse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Édouard Karembeu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Lernould's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Joseph Lernould managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrade's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Lernould was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Édouard Karembeu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Bastien Château shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Karembeu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Bastien Château had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Édouard Karembeu. Édouard Karembeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastien Château in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barrade had won after a very even match.
