Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celestin Chauvet took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th play minute Ronald Chalier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cheikh Épinat. 1-0. Charles-Henri Evano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Galibert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Evano in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Essars's Didier Bernet got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hocine Taillandier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Galibert having to interfere. In the 28th minute Celestin Chauvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheikh Épinat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestin Chauvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cheikh Épinat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lascours's Cheikh Épinat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Lascours from getting a goal against them. Jean-Yves Chênal charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Yves Chênal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jean-Yves Chênal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Eliott Lorant got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cheikh Épinat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Essars's Ronald Chalier got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lascours defense, Celestin Chauvet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheikh Épinat. The Lascours fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cheikh Épinat should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Djimmy Villemagne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Essars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lascours the free kick. Erwan Lallemant kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Chalier in the 63rd minute of play forced Lascours's goalkeeper Cheikh Épinat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Charles-Henri Evano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lascours's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles-Henri Evano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Galibert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hocine Taillandier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nicolas Galibert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Taillandier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Essars's Celestin Chauvet made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cheikh Épinat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronald Chalier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Essars got a freekick which was hit by Didier Bernet. If Hocine Taillandier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronald Chalier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cheikh Épinat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Lascours's goal looked a bit too open when Celestin Chauvet came free, but Cheikh Épinat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestin Chauvet charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestin Chauvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 98 minutes into the match, Lascours's goal looked a bit too open when Celestin Chauvet came free, but Cheikh Épinat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lascours players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Essars.
