Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jérémie Servel made the kick off and thus started the match. Clem Plaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Nasri in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Ecquedecques booed when Illies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Paul Amalric didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Nolan Bouaziz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nolan Gibaud, 1-1. Nolan Gibaud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Gernigon in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, John-Paul Amalric managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illies's supporters crossed their fingers, but John-Paul Amalric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Bouaziz in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nolan Gibaud saved Ecquedecques from getting behind. When Patrice Laurencon fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecquedecques's protests and gave Patrice Laurencon a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Illies's Harry Henriet tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nolan Gibaud was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Nolan Bouaziz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nolan Bouaziz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Ecquedecques's Joël Dupuis got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jean-Cyrille Koessler hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Benjamin Gernigon struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Nolan Gibaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illies. After a defensive mix-up in Ecquedecques's zone, Nolan Bouaziz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolan Gibaud came out of the goal and Nolan Bouaziz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute of the match Joël Dupuis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clem Plaza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Nolan Bouaziz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nolan Gibaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nolan Bouaziz made a kick off. Nolan Bouaziz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nolan Gibaud. Nolan Gibaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Benjamin Gernigon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illies's Benjamin Gernigon got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Illies's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Franck Nasri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Illies's zone, Jérémie Servel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Plaza came out of the goal and Jérémie Servel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nolan Bouaziz in the 75th managed to get into a good position. Franck Nasri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clem Plaza having to interfere. Jérémie Servel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Clem Plaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Franck Nasri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jérémie Servel came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecquedecques fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérémie Servel couldn't finish the play. Illies walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
