Leon Lesueur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mohamed Hemery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Leon Lesueur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Hemery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Chalezeule's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Delorme came free, but Mohamed Hemery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Hubert Delorme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Hemery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Lesueur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Armand Maridet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Metayer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32nd play minutes Gildas Leblond shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Constantin Lagneau and just under the crossbar into goal. 2-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Donald Metayer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Delorme in the 43rd minute of play forced Chalezeule's goalkeeper Mohamed Hemery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Chassieu's goal looked a bit too open when Gildas Leblond came free, but Constantin Lagneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chassieu's Constantin Lagneau got control of the ball when Armand Maridet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildas Leblond made a kick off. Armand Maridet struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Constantin Lagneau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalezeule. Leon Lesueur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Hemery having to interfere. Hubert Delorme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Mohamed Hemery made a huge save. Denis Vanacker's late challenge caught a Chassieu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Vanacker helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chalezeule getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Denis Vanacker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildas Leblond in the 63rd minute of play forced Chassieu's goalkeeper Constantin Lagneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Chassieu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Metayer to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Delorme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Hemery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Lesueur in the 80th minute of play. Constantin Lagneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Maridet in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Chalezeule booed when Chassieu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Sorriaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chassieu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Hubert Delorme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 91st playminute. Reda Bouchut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Lagneau having to interfere. Chalezeule's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
