Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yohann Ternisien made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Yohann Ternisien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lens's supporters rose to their feet, but Yohann Ternisien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Lagneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faudel Bernardi's late challenge caught a Lens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faudel Bernardi helped the player get up and apologised. If Roland Dancoisne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysse Châtelet came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Chassieu's Hubert Delorme. But to his dismay, Hubert Delorme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hubert Delorme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ulysse Châtelet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Chassieu got a freekick which was hit by Adrien Gallien. Roland Dancoisne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Yohann Ternisien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantin Lagneau was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chassieu's zone, Roland Dancoisne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Lagneau came out of the goal and Roland Dancoisne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantin Lagneau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Pradel went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Chassieu's Constantin Lagneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yohann Ternisien in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Chassieu got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Bernardi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Lesueur was the one to do the kick off. Roland Dancoisnes short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Constantin Lagneau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ulysse Châtelet came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Chassieu's Faudel Bernardi. But to his dismay, Faudel Bernardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 63rdth minute of the game Leon Lesueur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lens's Ulysse Châtelet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yohann Ternisien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Metayer took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysse Châtelet. Ulysse Châtelet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ulysse Châtelet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Lesueur in the 76th minute of the match. Leon Lesueur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ulysse Châtelet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play Chassieu's Faudel Bernardi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Chassieu's Faudel Bernardi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Victor Chevillon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantin Lagneau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th match minute, Chassieu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Lesueur to maneuver through the defense. Donald Metayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysse Châtelet having to interfere. Walter Pradel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
