Loïc Droguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivien Méziane, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 11 minutes, Mario Audry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frans and the Froidcul players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Frans's goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Méziane came free, but Loïc Droguet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brendan Dorin during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brendan Dorin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marc-Aurèle Dromard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Guillochon having to interfere. Mario Audry was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. During this time Froidcul's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Vivien Méziane made the kick off in the second half. Lionel Courrèges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Loïc Droguet made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Lionel Courrèges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Froidcul's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel Courrèges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loïc Droguet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Frans's goalkeeper Loïc Droguet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lionel Courrèges came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Froidcul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Courrèges couldn't finish the play. Renaud Guillochon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donovan Marini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95th play minutes Lionel Courrèges shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Loïc Droguet and just under the crossbar into goal.
