But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Baptiste Douaud couldn't finish the play. Emile Granjon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marc-Olivier Ferret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Fauconnet might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislas Patron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Fauconnet ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Peyrade's zone, Emile Granjon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Olivier Ferret came out of the goal and Emile Granjon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaetan Gouet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marc-Olivier Ferret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hippolyte Delhoume hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. John-Paul Hure kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Emile Granjon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc-Olivier Ferret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Peyrade players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Champoigny were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Thomas Fauconnet made the kick off in the second half. Gaetan Gouet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Champoigny's Gaetan Gouet in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peyrade's goalie prevented a goal. Gaetan Gouet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Champoigny defense, Augustin Bussiere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislas Patron. The Champoigny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislas Patron should have stopped the shot. Augustin Bussiere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislas Patron having to interfere. Champoigny's Stanislas Patron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Fauconnet in the 80th minute of play. If Augustin Bussiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislas Patron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Bussiere in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Thomas Fauconnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislas Patron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyrade's Augustin Bussiere got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Octave Gaudy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champoigny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peyrade the free kick. After 89 played minutes Champoigny got a freekick which was hit by Octave Gaudy. 95 minutes in the game, Gaetan Gouet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marc-Olivier Ferret having to interfere. Thomas Fauconnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
