Guillaume Thouin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Kevin Arnoult sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jocelyn Fontes skillfully saved the ball. Chevry's Jocelyn Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxime Tresor in the 10th minute of play. Fabrice Plat kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jocelyn Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxime Tresor in the 42nd minute of the match. If Etienne Bisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Riehl charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Riehl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chevry booed when Chien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Riehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Joffrey Vanacker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chevry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustin Delhommeau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Chevry's Joffrey Vanacker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustin Delhommeau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joffrey Vanacker struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Faustin Delhommeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevry. After a rather tough play, Chien's Kevan Amsellem got a free kick in the 91st minute.
