Danny Minaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amine Jaunet in the 6th minute of the match. Amine Jaunet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Napollon's Robert Lambolez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Minaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Mathys Rion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Walker was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Cesar Hetzel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesar Hetzel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Mathys Rion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Béchanne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Napollon the free kick. The supporters of Napollon booed when Béchanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathys Rion didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Béchanne's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lambolez came free, but Danny Minaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amine Jaunet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Minaud having to interfere. Danny Minaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Lambolez in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Béchanne booed when Napollon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hippolyte Gauvain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Hetzel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Napollon's goalkeeper Joseph Walker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Béchanne defense, Amine Jaunet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Minaud. The Béchanne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Minaud should have stopped the shot. After having played for 60 minutes, Amine Jaunet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napollon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amine Jaunet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Béchanne's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Robert Lambolez 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Tony Lesaffre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danny Minaud. Béchanne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joseph Walker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Bihel in the 71st minute of the match. Amine Jaunet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Minaud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Cesar Hetzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Lambolez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Minaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph Walker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Bihel in the 81st minute of play. When Mathys Rion was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Mathys Rion hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
