Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Pierre-Henri Berthod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Bay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Bay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Daguenet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Daguenet in the 8th minute of the match. Montluel's Denis Daguenet got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Daguenet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oscar Bay. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Peyrière's goalkeeper Oscar Bay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolphe Heyraud. Montluel's Denis Daguenet got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Montluel's Léon Raoul got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Donovan Boule took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Brisard. Montluel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enzo Laporte kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Donovan Boule shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Brisard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Montluel booed when Peyrière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaud Soule didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Denis Daguenet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Bay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolphe Heyraud in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Peyrière's Renaud Soule got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Coquin during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Peyrière's Oscar Bay got control of the ball when Rodolphe Heyraud tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Daguenet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Bay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolphe Heyraud, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Charlie Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Peyrière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Montluel's goalkeeper Mario Brisard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peyrière's Joey Parent got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Lewandowski got free with Mario Brisard in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Daguenet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Oscar Bay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Brisard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Parent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Montluel's zone, Joey Parent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Brisard came out of the goal and Joey Parent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolphe Heyraud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Daguenet in the 85th minute of the match. Joey Parent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mario Brisard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peyrière's goalkeeper Oscar Bay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
