The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cedric Farges during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Robertsau got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Farges. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florent Boisse in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berenger Cohen saved Lauzerville from getting behind. If Rene Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Florent Boisse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenger Cohen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Tissandier lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Robertsau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lauzerville:s goal. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Lauzerville's Mathias Finck got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Rapin. Robertsau's Jonathan Rapin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Molinie in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Alexandre Turbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacob Molinie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes in the game, Alphonse Ribes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Rapin having to interfere. Jacob Molinie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lauzerville's zone, Alexandre Turbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berenger Cohen came out of the goal and Alexandre Turbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Molinie was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Robertsau's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Molinie came free, but Jonathan Rapin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacob Molinie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alphonse Ribes in the 62nd minute of play forced Robertsau's goalkeeper Jonathan Rapin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphonse Ribes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alphonse Ribes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darren Chardin's late challenge caught a Lauzerville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren Chardin helped the player get up and apologised. Darren Chardin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Alphonse Ribes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Rapin having to interfere. Jonathan Rapin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alphonse Ribes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Alexandre Turbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robertsau and the Lauzerville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Alexandre Turbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Rapin came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Lauzerville's Alphonse Ribes. But to his dismay, Alphonse Ribes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jonathan Rapin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Pradal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Robertsau's Rene Keller pulled a muscle in his leg after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Mathias Finck fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lauzerville's protests and gave Mathias Finck a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Rapin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Ribes in the 93rd minute of play. Robertsau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
