Olivier Abgrall kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Olivier Abgrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melvin Dijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ghislain Jany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th play minute Ernest Ramette came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Freddy Arlaud. 1-0. Freddy Arlaud was a little too slow when Ernest Ramette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Joris Baillot struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Freddy Arlaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorbio. After having played for 28 minutes, Ernest Ramette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorbio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Ramette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute of the match, Joris Baillot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Freddy Arlaud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joris Baillot struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Freddy Arlaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorbio. Balmont's Olivier Abgrall got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Dijon in the 44th minute of play forced Gorbio's goalkeeper Ghislain Jany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willy Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Balmont booed when Gorbio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghislain Jany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin Dijon in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ernest Ramette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Balmont got a freekick which was hit by Raoul Daudet. In the 81st minute, Adrien Gros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ghislain Jany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melvin Dijon in the 86th minute. Olivier Abgrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gorbio's Willy Rubio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Gorbio's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
