Melvin Leperlier charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dourges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noe Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sammy Chevallier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Antoine Playe having to interfere. Mehdi Vagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Antoine Playe having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy Chevallier made a kick off. Etienne Gaboriau kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Richard Guillemette came out of the goal and Benjamin Belloir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Guillemette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Verdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jordy Buvat hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Dourges's Maurice Verdin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maurice Verdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Verdin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Guillemette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Sailly supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dourges's performance. The match ended with a win for Dourges.
