Meyreuil's Charles Brochot got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Griffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ange Rivas in the 11th minute of play. Igor Griffon was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Ange Rivas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ange Rivas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Charles Brochot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Macquart charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Macquart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 23 minutes, Yves Hainaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meyreuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Hainaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ange Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Chave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Brochot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bihorel's Joaquim Macquart got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Joaquim Macquart off the ground. Yves Hainaut struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Robin Chave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yves Hainaut made a kick off. Robin Chave made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Brochot in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Meyreuil's Yves Hainaut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robin Chave. Robin Chave yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Brochot could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Robin Chave however easily saved by the left post. Loïc Marliere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Lafleur in the 63rd minute of play forced Meyreuil's goalkeeper Igor Griffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexis Gayot kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Hainaut in the 80th minute of play forced Bihorel's goalkeeper Robin Chave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Loïc Marliere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Meyreuil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
