Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jimmy Dussart started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 7 minutes, Harry Taillade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Essars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Taillade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Gabert during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gaillard getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Moise Gabert hit a great ball. Jimmy Dussart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Allan Baumont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aime Pailler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florent Malhomme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Aime Pailler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Dussart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Allan Baumont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Munoz hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martial Hermouet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Aime Pailler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florent Malhomme. Essars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aime Pailler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Aime Pailler might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florent Malhomme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aime Pailler ran back to his position shaking his head. Harry Taillade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Allan Baumont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Baumont made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Harry Taillade sent off a good shot on target. Gaillard's Allan Baumont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Gaillard from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Gaillard getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Anatole Noble hit a great ball. Allan Baumont was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Igor Gary. When Jimmy Dussart came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Essars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Dussart couldn't finish the play. Aime Pailler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florent Malhomme having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Essars got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Metzger. In the 94th minute of the match Jonathan Gasnier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florent Malhomme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thomas Beaugrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Allan Baumont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
