Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilles Binder started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Vernhole's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Binder came free, but Fabian Resse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Deleris got free with Fabian Resse in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morgan Colonna hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gilles Binder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Resse having to interfere. Vernhole's Fabian Resse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Binder in the 11th minute of play. Jean-Marie Delisle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remi Mulard, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The Vernhole fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Vernhole's Remi Mulard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, Gilles Binder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Louis Teston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Larny's Jolan Degrange got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Louis Teston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vernhole's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Teston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Delisle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louis Teston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jean-Marie Delisle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Marie Delisle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remi Mulard in the 42nd minute of play. Morgan Colonna's late challenge caught a Larny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morgan Colonna helped the player get up and apologised. Quentin Vidot charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Vidot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Larny booed when Vernhole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Vidot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remi Mulard to strike the kick off in the second half. Remi Mulard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jean-Marie Delisle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vernhole getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Quentin Vidot hit a great ball. Larny's Gilles Binder got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Deleris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fabian Resse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Marie Delisle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remi Mulard in the 63rd minute of the match. Michael Deleris might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Resse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Deleris ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th match minute, Larny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabe Guine to maneuver through the defense. Remi Mulard succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 84th minute of the match Joseph Baude shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Resse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vernhole! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Larny. Barnabe Guine stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabian Resse. 1-3. Jean-Marie Delisle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Teston went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Salim Beaufils kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Vernhole left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Larny.
