Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vincent Combette started the match with the kick off. Albert Perry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Mazin having to interfere. In the 6th minute of the match Luc Dupuis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominique Mazin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albert Perry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominique Mazin having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Sammy Michaux put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dominique Mazin. After a rather tough play, Peyrestortes's Joey Horel got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 19 played minutes Peyrestortes got a freekick which was hit by Alou Leseigneur. Carlos Gamet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Didier Dumet made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Barbentane got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Combette. Didier Dumet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Combette, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Peyrestortes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice Bocquier to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Carlos Gamet made a precise shot to the right of Didier Dumet. Peyrestortes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Michaux was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Gamet succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aymerick Cluzeau during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aymerick Cluzeau kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Vincent Combette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Peyrestortes's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Combette came free, but Didier Dumet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Steven Lebourgeois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Gamet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Combette in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didier Dumet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Perry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Mazin having to interfere. When Vincent Combette came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Barbentane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Combette couldn't finish the play. Sammy Michaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Didier Dumet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Combette in the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Barbentane booed when Peyrestortes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilan Brasseur didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peyrestortes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barbentane.
