If Rodolphe Marron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Wingles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Vuillermoz to maneuver through the defense. Gaspard Pirat struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Sabri Plichon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Courcouronnes. Mike Magny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Redouane Barbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Redouane Barbey came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Wingles's Ludovic Jouan. But to his dismay, Ludovic Jouan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gérald Révillon charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gérald Révillon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mike Magny made the kick off in the second half. If Gaspard Pirat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wingles! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Courcouronnes. Ferdinand Brion stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sabri Plichon. 1-1. Sabri Plichon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolphe Marron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Magny during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Wingles got a freekick which was hit by Mike Magny. If Mike Magny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Magny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mike Magny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Redouane Barbey made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ludovic Jouan sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anatole Vilcot during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Anatole Vilcot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Rodolphe Marron made a precise shot to the right of Sabri Plichon. Wingles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Gaspard Pirat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Wingles's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspard Pirat came free, but Sabri Plichon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Gaspard Pirat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Plichon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspard Pirat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Courcouronnes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wingles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
