The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Seraincourt got a freekick which was hit by Farid Rouget. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamel Gaudre got free with Pierre-Henri Ollivier in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Pierre-Olivier Page had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 8 minutes into the game, Farid Rouget was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seraincourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laneuvelotte the free kick. In the 9th minute, Farid Rouget hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Kamel Gaudre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franz Soullard didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Seraincourt's Danny Straub shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Seraincourt's Danny Straub got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laneuvelotte's Franz Soullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Straub in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Kamel Gaudre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 played minutes Seraincourt got a freekick which was hit by Élie Guyader. Kamel Gaudres short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Pierre-Henri Ollivier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute, Danny Straub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Seraincourt fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Seraincourt's Achille Kurtz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kamel Gaudre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Henri Ollivier having to interfere. Kamel Gaudre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamel Gaudre to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noa Bourez during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Seraincourt getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Noa Bourez hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Achille Kurtz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Franz Soullard, passed just outside the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Laneuvelotte's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Kurtz came free, but Franz Soullard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamel Gaudre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Danny Straub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franz Soullard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Kurtz in the 65th minute. Pierre-Henri Ollivier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Gaudre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Laneuvelotte's Franz Soullard got control of the ball when Danny Straub tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sabri Dominici fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seraincourt's protests and gave Sabri Dominici a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laneuvelotte booed when Seraincourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Dominici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Kamel Gaudre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laneuvelotte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Laneuvelotte's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Kurtz came free, but Franz Soullard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Soullard came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Seraincourt's Achille Kurtz. But to his dismay, Achille Kurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 91st minute, one of Seraincourt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Seraincourt. Steve Vermersch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Henri Ollivier having to interfere. The Seraincourt players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
