The supporters of Crabinet booed when Galère was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Le Guillou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Cyril Rivaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crabinet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galère the free kick. The supporters of Galère booed when Crabinet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyril Rivaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Boris Lorenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galère's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Lorenzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes in the game, Ghislain Renner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maurice Pavan having to interfere. Galère's Germain Koenig suffered a sore thigh after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Billy Margueritte's late challenge caught a Galère's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Billy Margueritte helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Crabinet got a freekick which was hit by Billy Margueritte. Charlie Caudal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pascal Brenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Cyril Rivaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Brenot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boris Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Crabinet getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mathys Sutra hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Boris Lorenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Maurice Pavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfred Le Guillou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Galère's Pascal Brenot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Rivaud in the 55th minute of play. Charlie Caudal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Brenot having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Cyril Rivaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Brenot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Caudal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pascal Brenot made a huge save. Boris Lorenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyril Rivaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Brenot having to interfere. Ghislain Renner kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Pascal Brenot was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zinedine Zeller. If Cyril Rivaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyril Rivaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Brenot having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Galère's goalkeeper Pascal Brenot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Caudal. Galère's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
