Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Germain Racine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harry Rondot. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Germain Racine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germain Racine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Rondot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germain Racine, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Rosière's Germain Racine managed to work through Cannes's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Germain Racine dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Harry Rondot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germain Racine, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Herbert Boisset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Quenel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martial Godier hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Roland Quenel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Boisset in the 39th minute of play. Herbert Boisset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Germain Racine took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Harry Rondot to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Boisset was the one to do the kick off. Germain Racine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Bisiaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Quenel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rosière's zone, Herbert Boisset stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Quenel came out of the goal and Herbert Boisset tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cannes's Harry Rondot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germain Racine in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Francis Rebillard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cannes the free kick. After 65 played minutes Rosière got a freekick which was hit by Francis Rebillard. Bart Bisiaux who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Roland Quenel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bart Bisiaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Quenel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Rosière got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tallec. Germain Racine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Herbert Boisset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Quenel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rosière getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Francis Rebillard hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Cannes's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Zitouni came free, but Harry Rondot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Herbert Boisset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rosière had won after a very even match.
