Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Argent's Regis Gilly started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Djibril Amiard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djibril Amiard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Junior Moser hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Regis Gilly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillaume Bordeaux was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 14 minutes, Teddy Garrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Méré and the Argent players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Méré getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Teddy Garrel hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Regis Gilly reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guillaume Bordeaux. The goal made the score 2-0. The Méré fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Méré's Léopold Vandeville looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Djibril Amiard struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Guillaume Bordeaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argent. Regis Gilly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léopold Vandeville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Felix Pamart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Oscar Bader cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Felix Pamart was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Léopold Vandeville to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Méré defense, Regis Gilly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillaume Bordeaux. The Méré fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillaume Bordeaux should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Argent booed when Méré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcom Vaury didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillaume Bordeaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regis Gilly in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Gilly in the 70th minute of play forced Méré's goalkeeper Guillaume Bordeaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Coche during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Argent fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! After a long run with the ball, Noël Ramé did a trick in the 73rd minute in front of Argent's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-3. An impressive performance by Méré's Noël Ramé! An unexpectedly hard shot by Léopold Vandeville in the 79th minute of play forced Argent's goalkeeper Felix Pamart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Méré's Oscar Bader got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelien Valli's late challenge caught a Méré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelien Valli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Argent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelien Valli to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Méré's Noël Ramé broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 85th minute Djibril Amiard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Bordeaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Oscar Bader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
