Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Méré getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mohamed-Ali Zeller hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Bertrand Canard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Bordeaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Méré's Léopold Vandeville in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quincieux's goalie prevented a goal. Bertrand Canard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillaume Bordeaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Auber in the 24th minute of play. Charles-Henri Harter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Bader in the 34th minute. Darren Gravelle charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darren Gravelle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Oscar Bader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quincieux's zone, Oscar Bader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Henri Harter came out of the goal and Oscar Bader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles-Henri Harter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Jamain in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Oscar Bader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Méré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Bader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Charles-Henri Harter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Bader, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Léopold Vandeville came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Méré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léopold Vandeville couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Quincieux got a freekick which was hit by Eden Kergoat. In the 60th minute, Oscar Bader left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Méré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Méré's Guillaume Bordeaux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Méré from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Oscar Bader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertrand Canard in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guillaume Bordeaux, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bertrand Canard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quincieux's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertrand Canard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillaume Bordeaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes, Méré's Marcel Hannequin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charles-Henri Harter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Méré reached it. Léopold Vandeville scored 2-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles-Henri Harter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute Léopold Vandeville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles-Henri Harter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Méré were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quincieux for a fine match.
