Alban Bastien made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Marc-Antoine Duhem sent off a good shot on target. Marc-Antoine Duhem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc-Antoine Duhem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Alban Bastien made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thibaut Plouvier in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eden Flavigny saved Roeulx from getting behind. Hakim Nion's late challenge caught a Aingeray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Nion helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaut Plouvier in the 17th minute of play forced Roeulx's goalkeeper Eden Flavigny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aingeray were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Roeulx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lionel Georg took the corner. 20 minutes into the game, Roeulx's Félicien Jeudy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alban Bastien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marc-Antoine Duhem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Constantin Stoecklin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aingeray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roeulx the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Aingeray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Stoecklin to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Machado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Marc-Antoine Duhem took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alban Bastien. Alban Bastien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 44 minutes, Jim Sales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roeulx and the Aingeray players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aingeray booed when Roeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Sales didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Félicien Jeudy was the one to do the kick off. Eden Flavigny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Moretto in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Marc-Antoine Duhem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roeulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc-Antoine Duhem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alban Bastien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félicien Jeudy, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Aingeray's Gaston Machado got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Marc-Antoine Duhem fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roeulx's protests and gave Marc-Antoine Duhem a yellow card for diving instead. Marc-Antoine Duhem kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Roeulx's Eden Flavigny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Moretto in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Roeulx's zone, Rudy Moretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eden Flavigny came out of the goal and Rudy Moretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Roeulx got a freekick which was hit by Basile Roche. When Félicien Jeudy came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Roeulx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Félicien Jeudy couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes in the game, Rudy Moretto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eden Flavigny having to interfere. The supporters of Aingeray booed when Roeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Bernon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thibaut Plouvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes, Aingeray's Lionel Georg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eden Flavigny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aingeray reached it. When Gaston Naveau fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roeulx's protests and gave Gaston Naveau a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Roeulx getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gaston Naveau hit a great ball. When Rudy Moretto came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Aingeray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Moretto couldn't finish the play. Roeulx's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
